Here is Drake, the male we kept, on his first truck ride. He was happy!

The bride ordered a doggy door and it came in yesterday. Well of course it was made to go into a door 1" to 2" thick and we need to put it in the wall. The bride says you can do it. I said yeah, but not tonight.......long story short after lots of tools and work I got it framed in the wall. Mocha the lab and mother just looked at the clear plastic flap. Drake, after just one push on the flap was through it. Drake went through 5 or 6 times just calling him before Mocha got the hang of it.

The wife went to let them out at 5:30 this morning and guess what? They were already outside! I'm thinking I like that contraption already.

Dog Doors are the best thing ever. I'm leaving my dog home for the entire weekend with lots of food and water and don't even need a sitter.

you ain't kidding Motorboat, since we had those puppies every weekend we were getting someone to come over and see about the dogs. This weekend will be a breeze.

Our house has an area that was probably supposed to be the back porch. It's closed in now. It has an A/C vent. We put a doggie door in the door to the outside which is a covered sun room. We leave the sun room door open.

We can leave our dog back there for a long weekend with no issues. Our dog does not like to eat much when we are gone.

Nice pup.

Remember those doors operate in entrance and exit mode.

You might wake up to a skunk in your house one morning.

thanks

and

thanks. we live in the middle of BR but not far off of Wards creek. so we get the occasional coon and armadillo. thank goodness it is in the Man cave and we keep the sliding door shut. A skunk in the Man cave wouldn't be pretty though.

Thanks. He is a handful. We call him gator cause he snaps his jaws at everything trying to bite it.

He is learning though. He has sit and kennel down pretty good and hasn't had an accident in over 2 weeks.
