Should have taken that as a sign. The vocals are awful.

I'm a fan.

The Revivalists and Earphunk are the future of Nola jam bands.

Its crazy, I saw on of Earphunk's first gigs at a frat house in Athens, Ga. I thought they were pretty good, but I never would have though that they would blow up like they have. Their sound has progressed nicely since 2010. I saw them again last year I think, and they were tight.

Earphunk is a great live act. I will say that I liked them better when they have the sax. I thought their show in Austin after SCI was alot different then how they normally play. It was good but not as good as normal.

Nonetheless it's been cool to watch these guys grow. The best show they've done is still the first time they did Daft Phunk at the Spanish Moon

Huge fan of these guys! Great musicians and are awesome live. The city of sound album was produced by Ben Ellman of Galactic. David Shaw vocalist has some serious chops. Occasionally plays with galactic and does some cool led zeppelin covers. Check out their first EP the revivalist - awesome shite! IMHO of course.

Never heard of them, but I just checked out the website and the guy who plays keys and trumpet used to be with Rotary Downs. I was wondering where he was at dba on Friday.

Yeah, except their band is actually really talented. I get what you're driving at, with the douchy, attention-whoring lead singer.
