This 2013 team could be one of the best tackling teams at LSU. I state this because Barrow is one of the best tacklers among one of the deepest line backing corps at LSU. And word is out the D performed very well overall in scrimmages. Curious as to who else among them and the secondary would you say are comparable to Minter and TM7?

Barrow had 100+ himself. Just slightly outshines by minter. Look for him to have a lot of tackles again this year.

And poppa

Out of 175 posts you must have started 160 threads. Just saying.

But since football starts THURSDAY I'll play along. Kwon will be the breakout player IMO. 100+ tackle season.

I think LSU's offense and defense will improve over last year. Ole Miss was a perfect example of the offense out performing the defense. At Fla it was reversed. I think the biggest improvement on D will be the tackling, with Kwon, Barrow, and Beckwooth and a secondary that may be more talented.

Kwon was tearing it up before he got hurt. Man with two sr lbs and kwon coming off injury I look for a special year at lb this year. You know freak will command a double team and that should free up a lb to have a special year. I can make the case that this is the fastest all around lb core we have had in some time.

I can make the case that our secondary will be better than last year too, they were just freshmen and Reid had a bad year. Lots of talent everywhere on this D now.
