Supposedly only weigh 11 pounds. Wondering about the comfort of them or should i stick with the Ol' Man.

Nothing to say about the x-stand from personal experience, but the research I have done on it is that it is fine for a 2-3 hr hunt, but all day hunts in it are extremely uncomfortable.

If you want a light-weight, comfy stand, try the Summit Specialist.

It came out last year and has gotten good reviews from the bow-hunting community. Only weighs 14lbs, but has a full-size platform and a sling seat.

Whoa. With where I have to walk, this is interesting.

For the 2+ mile hikes I do on public land, a light climber is extremely advantageous. If you're like me and rarely sit, the x-stand makes a lot of sense. I think the specialist it probably the most versatile, well-rounded stand from a weight, comfort and design standpoint though.

If you have a short walk, I wouldn't waste the money on a super light stand.
