Well guess it means they trust lake to play center for the rest of the year, and unless they overpay for ellsbury in the off season, next year too.
But my bigger question is who is the clubhouse/positive influence for everyone now

My best guess too, but the little i hear about nate is that he's fairly steady as she goes, which isn't a bad thing, but not the arm around your shoulder pick a teamate up type that dejesus was.
Maybe we can bring zambrano back as a clubhouse guy. THis team needs more fight.

Don't get this at all for the Nats.
Maybe they're going to trade Span in the offseason and go with a straight Hairston/DeJesus platoon in LF next year?
It's a pretty good platoon but expensive.

I doubt they bring him back next year. Pay the one million left for this year, buy him out at 1.5 next year. Just my guess though.
