I picked this off a TCU board
I think the guy might be reaching a little !!!!!
1. Motivation - This game means more to TCU than LSU. If you asked LSU what their 3 biggest games of the year are, they'd probably say Georgia, Texas A&M and Alabama. On the other hand a case could be made this could be TCU's biggest game. TCU will be more fired up and determined to win this one.
2. Coaching - I think Gary Patterson is a better X's and O's coach than Miles. Miles may have more accomplishments and recruiting successes, but he also has more to work with. As a raw coach, Patterson is better in my opinion. Plus he has no blunders on his record like Les Miles had against Ole Miss in 2009 or Tennessee in 2010 or the BCS title game in 2012.
3. Quarterback - Casey Pachall is a more talented quarterback, especially throwing the ball, than Zach Mettenberger. Mettenberger might not have the checkered pass but Pachall has more upside.
4. Secondary - TCU has a talented and experienced secondary and is probably the strongest unit TCU has on both sides of the ball.
5. Run Defense - TCU has always been able to shut down opposing running attacks in the past. This will force LSU to have to win the game throwing the ball.
6. Past History - TCU has always thrived in the underdog role in games like this.
7. Experience - TCU has more experience returning than LSU has especially when it comes to starters.
8. Conditioning - I think TCU is the most conditioned team in the league each year. Just look at our past games in September when other teams had players dropping like flies in the 2nd half with cramps and exhaustion issues. Most notably Baylor in 2010.
9. Wide Receivers - This unit is getting no respect, but were unable to put up big numbers last year due to the QB issues. With Pachall back, this team will have a chip on their shoulder to perform. It is a talented bunch that is getting no respect.
10. Prepartion - If there is a team out there that does a better job at preparing for opponents, I'd like to see it.

It's not like they are Bama and have a bunch of 6-3 280 pound linebackers that are stacked in the box. We are going to gash them.

I love this one and I hear it in Baton Rouge all the time. Les is only as good as his talent - really ???
Bama doesn't have talent
Texas doesn't have talent
Gators don't have talent
aTm don't have talent
(not sure about doesn't or don't so you get both)
Les has talent and we win but we don't win every game. When Les has a moment it's national news ya ya - others have moments and it just happens.
Les wins football games because he is an amazing Head football coach and he knows football. - Luck or Talent has a great deal to do with it as it does for every football coach in the country !

Someone didn't watch the season opener of 2011 against Oregon. In the same stadium.

Agree with #1
#5 TCU has always been good against the run. They'll commit 8 to the box to stop it. The passing game is going to have to produce.
