Sorry if Germans, but I did search the MSB for this guys name and nothing came up. Apparently you cannot play organized sports in the military just for fun. This guy played in what sounds like intramural football in the service, and now that he's trying to play football in college now, the NCAA is saying since there were officials, and uniforms etc, that it was an organized team sport. Originally said he'd have to sit out a year, and lose 2 yrs of eligibility.

The NCAA has zero credibility. I wish all of the major conferences would just withdraw from the NCAA and form their own separate governing body.
