Drafting Sproles at 3.01

12 team PPR with #1 overall pick. Ideally, I will be taking an RB and WR on the wrap around at 2.12 and 3.01. Am I crazy for considering Sproles here? I feel like in a PPR he is almost a lock for Top 10 RB numbers, but everything I read tells me I'm reaching by drafting him that high.

He shouldn't be there, but if he is, take him unless someone even better falls.

sproles went 12th pick in my ppr league yest "before ray rice and alfred morris" hope you have a chance to get him that late

Wow. Yea I hope he's there. Literally every mock I've done he has been there. And a bunch of rankings have him around #15RB even in PPR. I didn't get it.

those mocks are sometimes totally diff than your regular draft when people get under pressure to pick! Like i said there were several suprises in mine yest. such as
sproles 12th
rice 16th
graham fell all the way to the 1st pick in 4th round!

When you do a mock draft, there aren't 10 saints fans making picks like a good bit of the people posting here will have when they do a real draft.
I would have loved Sproles as my RB2 when i picked last in the 3rd. Got Vereen instead in the 5th and hope he turns out to be Sproles.

A lot of people I am drafting with are real high on Sproles for PPR numbers. I do not think drafting him at 3.01 is a reach at all in PPR leagues.
