Has anybody been there yet? I tried it yesterday and was underwhelmed.

I had a few hot appetizers and some sushi which were all just mediocre.

Spicy tuna, Philadelphia roll, and Boston. All hand rolls.

There's a sushi place in Lakeview now? Goddamit. They get all the good stuff after I leave for college and my parents now live on the north shore

Anybody tried Yummy Sushir near Rebert E Lee and Paris? Haven't tried sushi, but I got the lunch hibachi to go and it's pretty good. I also got an order of fried rice to go that was pretty good.

That sucks because those are some very basic rolls

Went yesterday and was underwhelmed by the food and the service was horrible. After waiting 45 minutes and only soup/salad and kids meal came out asked for the rest of the order to go. That took another 10-15 minutes and they forgot one of the two things we ordered. Won't be going back there.

Tried it last thursday night. It was fairly crowded for a weeknight and service was fine. Wife and I were out of there in less than an hour.

Had tuna and fresh salmon sashimi. Fish quality was actually really good. The rolls we had were fine but the portions weren't good for the price. Six pieces of crunchy roll and the $13 specialty roll we got only had eight pieces.

For convenience, I'll go again. But, it won't keep me from going to little tokyo on carrollton.
