Yes I know most on this site dosen't care. But IMO if Cameron commits to bama its a good sign of where Cam Robinson especially might be leaning. Also I'm still of opinion that LSU should still at least offer Sims.

KippLAdams: #Top247 WR Cameron Sims will make his commitment Aug. 24.

Maybe sims is Bama's backup plan after missing out on CRob's sister

Who can argue with this logic?

If sims was that pivotal in crobs recruitment I am pretty sure he would've been offered.

Some untruths in your post.

Well according to the BOL(247 bama site) he has an offer. But IDK, I'm not a recruiting expert, just going off what I have read.

Someone on the SECrb just said Sims said in an interview he sees himself fitting in a spread offense best. Sounds like he doesnt have a Bama offer still and is committing to Ole Miss.

BTW, seems odd Sims would say that, he is big and slow, not really what you would expect a WR to be in a spread offense.

Justin Blackmon and Dez Bryant did pretty well at Oklahoma St.

Sims is 6 ft 3 and runs 4.6 according to his 247 profile.

Dez is 6 ft 1 and ran the following times at a NFL workout. Looks taller than that to me.

Bryant began the workouts Tuesday in his hometown of Lufkin, Texas, with the 40, posting times of 4.52, 4.68 and 4.52 seconds. He was asked to run the third time because of the discrepancy between the first two times, the second of which was into the wind.

Didn't realize Blackmon was only 6 ft 1 as well, he looked taller to me also.....He also ran the 40 in 4.46.........so looks like I was wrong.....I apologize.

Think there were reports from last year when he to LSUs camp he couldn't even get into the 4.6s. Most fudge times they say in high school. Some are legit when they run it at camps, but the 4.6 for Sims is probably on the much optimistic end of things. Not the best place to rely on 40 times. Obviously pro-day and combine times are legit, as are some of these laser timed camps/events.

CRob is already a Bama lean, from what I've heard. Sims would just be icing on the cake.

Yeah Sims is closer to a Colston type than Dez or Blackmon. It'll be an SEC West team, just not sure which.

I seriously doubt Sims commitment has anything to do with Crobs commitment. If Sims was that good he would have an LSU offer. shite, we courted a guy from jersey ahead of him. My prediction, ole miss.

You guys watch OM get involved with CRob and Hootie if they land Cam Sims

They did it with a month to go with Tunsil last year

Wasn't that because his girlfriend was going to OM. Besides, we'll just outbid them anyway.

The kid is good. He just doesn't run a 4.4 He's almost 6-4. Not a burner but neither are a lot of successful receivers.

No clue if he'll ever be a productive college WR, but y'all are acting like he's terrible because he doesn't run a 4.3
