Annual "these guys are idiots" Gold Rush thread

Discovery has clearly decided that they can get ratings by letting us know these guys are idiots.
I'm sure they'll "stumble" on a great spot before this episode is over. But they're three episodes in and about a million dollars into wandering around South America looking like idiots as if the property owners didn't know exactly what they owned beforehand.

Shits getting ridiculous. I will admit, I have watched these goons religiously for the past 2 seasons. Last season, "Jungle Gold" broke the straw, "Gold Rush" is quickly steering in that shows direction right now.
Not to mention, which is still fricking mindblowing to me, Jungle Gold is back on

My cousin loves this show. I quit going over to his house because he has all of it on dvr and constantly plays it trying to talk about it. Rewinds parts. says his favorite show on tv ahead of breaking bad, hell on wheels, and really everything else. i know everyone has an opinion..but to me, watching people search for gold just isn't that great. And I really don't care to "get to know the characters" as he says.
