Heritage Park in Slidell is a nice spot. Can go out either way from the boat ramp. Can go up river a few miles and it's a very easy and serene trip.

What are you calling black river? And Im not going to slidell or Kenner.

None of the places I listed are in Kenner. I went as far as Slidell.
If you're coming from BR heading to Mand. before you cross the Tchf. there is a small lil body of water that dumps into the lake. That's considered Black River.

little tchefuncte, bogue falaya, lake road lacombe and not much beats watching the sunset from the yaks in lake P if the water is calm

Throw in Cane and thats pretty much all the ones I am considering.

I'm not sure what you're referring to either.

You talking that lil one that you go over right before 445 that runs south along Joyce WMA?

I'd do Cane and finish it up with a sunset over the lake
