Best place to kayak on the north shore?

So the lil woman friend and I are going to take the yaks out next week and was trying to think of some spots to go. All Ive got is Bayou Cane, whats some other good ones?

Heritage Park in Slidell is a nice spot. Can go out either way from the boat ramp. Can go up river a few miles and it's a very easy and serene trip.

launch on I-10 east on the Pearl River and head south. Middle river. It is the second bridge.

5.) Bayou Liberty

None of the places I listed are in Kenner. I went as far as Slidell.

If you're coming from BR heading to Mand. before you cross the Tchf. there is a small lil body of water that dumps into the lake. That's considered Black River.

little tchefuncte, bogue falaya, lake road lacombe and not much beats watching the sunset from the yaks in lake P if the water is calm

I'd do Cane and finish it up with a sunset over the lake
