Good Zonal Marking piece

The 4-1-4-1 basically created an inverted triangle in the midfield with only one holding midfielder and two more attacking mids. The problem is that he's an average tackler and when Bayern has lost the ball lately, the counter attack has come right up the middle because of it.

Pep's system worked so well because he had Sergio Busquets who was positionally perfect and a good tackler. I still think we'll eventually see Jan Kirchhoff or Javi Martinez as the defensive midfielder, allowing Schweinsteiger to push forward.

% chance Julian Green plays for US?

And I'll believe Bastian struggles when I see it.

Uhh... 40%? He keeps flip flopping between youth systems. If we try to get him in the full national team relatively soon we'll have a shot.

He didn't play that great in the first game, but he was just coming back from injury. He gave the ball up a couple of times and got beat on the dribble once or twice.

Saw it earlier but couldn't justify posting it on its own

This is my favorite:

Would be interesting to find out how he actually felt about Thierry Henry

I´d like the Bale deal to fall through, RM subsequently spurn Suárez, and from out of the blue, sign Lewandowski.

I believe this would be very good for football.

I thought Lewa already told Real he's not interested. I think the only team besides Bayern that he'll end up with next year is BVB.

He would score goals in his sleep with that team.

Said it on twitter, I'll say it in here too.

Man Utd will finish closer to 5th than 1st this season. Tell me why that's wrong.

I´ve probably drank ten to twenty a year for the past thirty years.

I´ve probably drank three or four a day, the past week.

Saw that match in Canada with some family. Good stuff.

This preseason has been an invigorating breath of fresh air, but I´m leery of this year´s CL knockout rounds foray.

I don´t know what this season holds for RM without a bonafide 9, as the D isn´t going to pull off many clean sheets.
