LSU is finally in a good spot where they have the personnel to play matchups.

I would say:
Hickey
Stringer
Martin
JOB III
Odo

With the luxury of having a 6' 5" guard in Quarterman against bigger lineups

Mettenberger, Blue, OBJ, Landry, and Copeland.

If you mean who starts the first game, then it's:
Hickey
Stringer
JOB
Morgan
Odo

Halfway through the season until the end:
Hickey
Quarterman
JOB
Martin
Mickey

Stringer and Morgan still see lots of playing time off the bench but CJJ can't resist starting a big lineup. Odo turns out to be an offensive liability with no game, turnovers and missed free throws but still gets five minutes a game.

No. Just no.

First game:
Hickey
Stringer
Coleman
O'bryant
Odo

Midseason:
Hickey
Morgan
Martin
O'Bryant
Odo

I think Mickey will surprise with his ability to play D and rebound. He isn't as tall as Odo but will be stronger and won't get pushed around in physical SEC play.

Agreed. Mickey is a force. He is not a 5. Odo is.

What are you assuming this on? Odo shot 61% from the FT line at Hill. That number is not great but it's not that bad for a bigman either.

Could be. Probably just as good as my picks. It will be an interesting dogfight for playing time.

Stringer is a senior and a good one at that. He will start throughout. He's our best shooter.

Hickey
Stringer
Morgan
JOB
Odo

Martin is 6th man. Could see Martin starting 3 later on in season depending on success but I don't see him at 3 until he develops a little more ball skills.

We won't be using Odo for his offensive skill. He's here to block shots and get boards. That's it. If he gets a few putbacks or hooks in a game than thats an added bonus. We won't bench Odo.

Coach Jones may be one of the hardest coaches to predict lineups for because he recruits dynamic players who can play 2-3 different positions. I have a feeling he will go big with Maryin at the 3

Hell I always forget about Coleman. No telling what he is gonna do with him. He very well could end up starting the 3 and having another shooter off bench with Morgan
