you're saying Mata would a draft eligible player since he switched. I'm just saying it seems like Pawnee Rangers would just keep him since he just changed teams within the league.

A player like Mata is draft eligible, but not Mata himself. I just did not want to use an actual player in the available pool and give away someone's pick.
