Is Leonard Fournette really that much better that Joe McNight was?

And Lache S., and Travon Reed? And all these other guys who were suppose to be badasses and didn't really live up? I hope the kid comes here and is the next Adrian Peterson but I feel like I've heard this routine before. I'll admit that I'm no expert on recruit film. Maybe I'm missing something.

dude joe mcnight was a great football player and got drafted and still a good football player in the nfl. He is a badass. He rushed for over a 1000 yards his last year and i believe he left college early. So he wasn't the next reggie bush...who is

I just think people on this board get their peckers hard every year over "the next great one". I've just gotten skeptical at this point.

Joe McKnight and Leonard Fournette are different backs.
Think Blue/Hill.
But to answer your question, yes LF is the real deal. Joe would not have done great at LSU because we run more power. Not to say Joe wasnt one of the best ever, he was made for zone blocking schemes. Who ever thinks Joe was overrated is a complete idiot or just never saw him play. Reed is a WR. LF is made for this offense. He is a once in a decade RB for LSU.

He is the only RB to come out recently that even compares to Peterson coming out of high school. So yeah, Fournette is much better than Joe Mcknight. A lot better.

with good reason for a lot of these kids. They are highly sought after by all teams for a reason.
LF is a special talent. That's all you need to worry about. What he does at the next level is up to him.

Fournette isn't much better than McKnight. Joe was a beast in high school and pretty good in college when he wasn't injured.
