IMO Jordan Allen and Ego look like straight animals. Much stronger and even faster than ever before. Both look like they could have big years.
Anybody else in y'alls opinion?

I'm thinking Poppa will go beast mode.

But I think Anthony Johnson will burst this year.

If he stays healthy. Kwon Alexander, dural, Landry, rasco, mett will have big years.
White in the nickle. Scary.

Beast mode in the sense that he tones down his headhunting tackling style & plays a more mature game as the leader in the defensive backfield

Another year under Raymond has probably helped him refine his technique. I thought he did really well last year for his first time as a starter.

Ego was a monster in the spring. I think Jalen Collins will be much improved.

I think Freak is gonna turn it up. I think he is one of those contract year players. Good but can really burn it when its go time.

If Ron Cooper wasn't able to improve his coverage skills, no one could. That guy was the best coach we've had on staff since Saban.

Ron Cooper was awful at teaching technique. That's why Peterson and Claiborne had to learn most of it their rookie years. Raymond is strict on good, if not perfect technique. Cooper let players play the way it felt natural for them. He didn't do shite technique wise. Loston would still be headhunting if Cooper was still here

Yet he got fired from the Bucs for having the worst pass defense in their history. After that his best offer was USF.
Chavis and Brick Haley are the best coaches for their positions ever at LSU. Cooper had a great eye for talent and benefited from that elite talent, but he didn't develop them for the NFL like Chavis and Haley have done

Kenny Hilliard
As long as he goes back to lowering a shoulder when trying to power through tackles instead of turning his back. I don't recall him doing that his Freshman year, but did see him do it often last year.

Ron Cooper has more of his players starting in the NFL then probably any other db coach in the nation. Peterson and Claiborne stated right off the back, they didnt have to learn shiit. Raymond is a good coach but he is young. Name me one player that Raymond has developed in his coaching career.
