Well, I am not going to name names, but one is a former Ryder cup player, the other used to play with him on the web.com tour, another has some status on the PGA tour, and I played Saturday with a former caddie on the web.com tour and we had this exact discussion. In hanging out with these guys, I have talked to other players that pretty much agreed. Oh, and one GC announcer too. Like I have said, I have seen it first hand as well.

Its crazy how he can cover all that up and still be named the most likable guy in golf. Either that or you're full of shite and dont know anybody.

Janky isn't the only one. If you like him, go ahead and like him. People who know won't have their mind changed by him picking up a Chipotle tab.

He's one of the most likable guys on tour. I'm sorry if he fricked your wife, but he's got enough people duped that like him to where he's now one of the most popular players on tour. Period. You can not like him if you want, doesn't change the fact that most of the rest of golf fans do like him.

Hey look everybody, despite all evidence otherwise I still say Bubba Watson isn't popular and nobody likes him. No matter the published reports, my opinions are right. rabble rabble rabble rabble

He's a tool.

I have a friend who went to the Masters and talked to a guy whose 10 year old son's cousin saw Bubba at the mall. The cousin watched a guy chase after him but Bubba left the mall before the guy could catch him.

a-hole.

What evidence. You posted 3 articles that were based on fanfare not peer opinions.

1. Rory McIlroy and 15 Other Golfers That Galleries Absolutely Love

2. 10 Most Popular PGA Tour Golfers on Twitter

3. The 10 Most Likeable Golfers on the PGA Tour

You asked me to name his peers that I know and I did. Well, I didn't actually name them cause that would be dumb. We get it, you like what you see on TV and I would too if that is all that mattered. However, off camera he is a jackass whether you want to believe it or not.

I like what I've seen on TV? I've covered the tour Championship and the Shell Houston Open, talked to the golfers, hung out behind the scenes, almost dropped the trophy while carrying it down the cart path. Nobody ever seemed to have any problems with Bubba. All the guys that were laughing it up with him sure did a great job of hiding their hatred and disdain for him.

But you played golf with a caddy that didn't like him, so obviously you know.

That was funny how you didn't realize I was a sports writer before moving out to Vegas and just assumed I had never had any contact with anyone and just gained all of my opinions from TV.

You were wrong though.

You have to understand 3 things about golf threads on TD:

1. Everyone supposedly knows people and certain cliques of posters will always band together to agree with each other.

2. Tiger is supposedly nothing but a cheater when he plays, he's supposedly a complete a-hole because on his way to practice he didnt sign an autograph for a 50yr old poster on TD, and did I mention he has to cheat in order to win these days?

3. VegasPro is always in meltdown mode when Tiger is doing well. And when Tiger makes a less than perfect shot, he gets extremely giddy like Gargamel does when he would see smurfs.

Got it?

Oh and Bubba is supposedly an a-hole because some other guy said so.

Love threads like this, Bubba is an a-hole because he made it and is famous now and doesn't talk to your friends anymore who are still struggling on the mini tours because he's better than them. What a dick head

Gonna disagree with you from what I saw at the Zurich. He was nice as could be post round signing autographs for a very large crowd. He spoke to my fiancee and I for probably 2-3 minutes and seemed very genuine.
