I'm currently watching Bama dismantle Notre Dame in last years College Championship game. It's uglier than I remember.

Channel 208 DirecTv.

Game would have been remarkably different if they didn't blow the no catch call and the ensuing punt.

Dude nothing could have saved that game. Notre Dame was barely a top 10 team.

The defacto number 2 team in the country.

That game was over after bama's first drive, they were blowing ND off the line of scrimmage from play one

LINK

What was lost in that game was how well Louis Nix III played. He actually got penetration in the center and his support couldn't close off the edges. However, Stephen Tuitt, who will probably be a higher draft pick, was dreadful during that game.

Nix was about the only good thing for Notre Dame that night.

Everything else though...

That blown call did not help matters at the time but it would not have changed the game.

Maybe some momentum and pep in their steps for a little while longer.

Bama was going to crush them no matter what..

Bama bent them over like a freshman at their first college party. ND didn't want none.

Barely top 10? I have been told the BCS only puts the two "best" teams according to Bama fans.

No, the BCS puts the top 2 ranked teams, not necessarily the best 2.
