I know majority of you guys don't like em(BR:DR DIAF, GTFO, etc) but I do and I love the predictions. We've actually been on a bunch of underrated USA Coaches poll articles and it's good to know that some people in the media understand "Hey, we are still LSU".

9-3
11-1
14-0 BCS Champs

B/R = fan like you and me.

You could just walk over to your neighbor's house and get his prediction on the upcoming season. It would have the same amount of credibility as B/R.

They still have fan posts, but those guys are actually fulltime pro college football bloggers. Not that it makes their predictions worth anything. Nice to see some non-homer optimism though.

Bleacher Report is about as credible as the OT.

I said this the other day, people try way too hard to hate on Bleacher Report.

I enjoy their stuff, and isn't that the point?

The 3 guys who are making the prediction in that video are highly credited national beat writers for the SEC or CFB. It's not just some random guys.

I thought they made a lot of sense. The Tigers are still the Tigers.

I really enjoyed that piece. Very good analysis from both sides, but they could have thrown in a little more criticism.

Again, BR is a growing/credible news source.

As opposed to the all knowing ESPN, CBS crew???

I dont read BR, other than links posted here, and I've never linked one myself, but getting paid to talk about football doesn't mean you're credible. Most national guys don't know half as much about LSU as the fans that watch every snap of every game. I dread clicking on many national or even local links cause I don't want to give those trolls like Finebaum or GG or the lazy regurgitated ESPN talking point writers the hits.

There are many posters on this site and others whose credibility I trust infinitely more than all but one or two national guys. And even the local beat writers have biases and agendas that they use to drum up contraversy, interest, and clicks on their sites and pages.

National analysts can't watch every play for every team, so other than the big Bama type games they mostly get their impressions from watching the highlights or reading a piece on the game from a local beat writer that may not know what they're talking about or have an agenda.

Sure, they have great background and general knowledge about football. They also have the resources to know more about many other programs than I take the time to know about.

They know a little about a lot of teams, but fans know WAY more about LSU. If any of the ESPN personalities could name 4 of our starters on D this year off the top of their heads, not to mention more than 1 or 2 incoming freshman, I'd be very surprised.

Doesn't mean the fan will always be right either of course, but it sure as hell doesn't discredit their opinion just because they aren't paid to give it. Oftentimes a free opinion is worth more than one who charges for theirs.
