to out of state schools?

It seems to me that if LSU were to lose a key in state recruit to an out of state school because a Saints player recruited him away, it would have a negative impact on the Saints franchise. I know many Saints/LSU fans that were not too happy when Bush pushed a local running back to USC. If a situation like this happens again, I would be less likely to spend my money and time on the Saints.

More speech police. Just what we need. If a saints player pushes a guy somewhere, he's perfectly allowed to do so.

I know he is allowed to do that, but does it damage the Saints brand?

Would you as an LSU fan be a little pissed at the Saints and/or player that talked a 5 star recruit into going to school out of state? I am just saying with the millions of LSU fans in the state, this could only hurt the Saints.

Would I be pissed that we lost a 5* prospect? Of course.

Would I be pissed at the Saints player for talking up his alma mater? Of course not. I'm not a moron.

I understand what you are saying. However it is something that sounds better in your head as it is completely impractical.

The Saints have no formal affiliation with LSU and the team should care more about the players on its roster (that come from many different universities) than they do about LSU recruiting.
