Is there any other artist whose mixtape career is superior to their commercial release career?

Not that I can think of. And it's crazy because Wayne will go down as a Top 10 (arguably Top 5) rapper of all time with his best work being mixtapes.

Chamillionaire

Cham's tapes >>> Wayne's tapes

ETA: their commercial careers are relatively young, but both Curren$y and Wiz fall into this category also as it stands today.

Agree with both of these. I can't stand anything Wayne put out in the last few years, but I'll still take D2, the Suffix, DD3, over Chamillionaire's best 3.

So many struggle artists in your playlist I see. Wiz? Currency?
Dont they have 2 good mixtapes at most?
Chamillionaire is good but nowhere as good as flow as weezy.
There's a reason Weezy was about to land a spot at the Roc after Dedication dropped

You mean biggie???

Thanks for adding more entertainment to the thread.

Now tell me how biggie is irrelevant, and underground and hood rap, blah blah blah.
