Well I did see the biggest gator I have seen to date in the kayak, he was a little more aggressive than I care to be around also. Only other time I had one be aggressive was when it was chasing the Chug Bug
He was probably 10-12 feet judging by the size of his head and how much back I saw

Just curious. How was he aggressive towards you? Did he swim in your direction?

I ran up on about a 3 footer today. I got some pics of about a 2 footer from about 2 feet away in Blind River.
Gators were definitely out at Sherburne today though, probably seen 10

Yeah he swam along side me while I was slow moving worm fishing, once he got too close for my comfort and his size I sped it up and he darted along with me. After about 50 yards I started fishing again and he popped up again and got spooked and made a big ruckus. Normally the smaller gators either go in the opposite direction or freeze until I get a distance away from them.

Yeah first time I went out by myself I was going down a narrow canal and saw a group of gators. Had no other way to go as I was headed back to the load up. I did not feel good since the were trying to swim away from me in the canal and I was catching up. Didn't want want them to feel like I was stalking them. Thankfully that just dipped under water and went away. But that was a tense moment for me on my SOT

Haven't had that happen but saw about 200 in Grande Isle a couple months ago.
I was deer hunting once in a camo chair in a temporary place that had a bush hogged lane over about a 30 foot drop to a creek. I could see about 80 yards to my stump feeder on the other side. I had a hawk no shite, take off down the lane from down by my feeder just after day break and he tried to light on my head. Now I can get camo'ed up and still enough to fool a hawk, but I can't see a fricking deer during daylight hours.

That's fricking crazy right there, I probably would have shite my pants when he landed. I got to share that, I might even try to pull it off that it was me, on facebook.
I know a guy that had a bird light on his gun barrel while he was hunting and the same guy caught a snipe bare handed but this beats it all.

He could stab you if he wanted too. I'm just wandering, what the hell was he thinking?
