Rumor has it that it will be time served plus 9 schollies over 3 or 6 over 2. Ready for this thing to be over!

Good. Maybe the Hurricanes boards will stop using this as an excuse for the team possibly being distracted when UF comes to town.

Sounds about right. They already banned themselves from 2 bowl games. Some lost schollies and that'll be that.

I can't imagine the penalties being much worse than two postseason bans, so the rumored sanctions sound right

They'll still use it after the game, regardless

Why are they getting away so easily.

This does sound like they're getting their hands spanked when you look at all the allegations & the number of players AND coaches involved. But either way, Thug U has had its day in the sun & the future will continue to consist of an half empty stadium except when the mighty gators & Noles come into town.

Probably because a bunch of the players involved cooperated.

It's likely how Teddy Bridgewater got immunity. But I'm interested in the implications it will have for Clint Hurtt who is still on staff at UofL.

I'd think because the NCAA fricked up the investigation so terribly they'd risk a mutiny if they threw the book at Miami.

I think the NCAA in general is going soft, which is bullshite. They should overturn the Penn State sanctions if they're going to give Oregon a 3 scholarship penalty.

There needs to be a "Criminal Code" type ordeal- where you know if you're found guilty of a violation, you know exactly what you're going to get. Self-reported violations should work like plea deals: the NCAA should offer them, not the schools. It's just all too inconsistent, something I would change as NCAA President.
