I wonder those same things...sometimes you see things on replays that you might have missed watching it live. Like for instance, during the South Carolina game last year, we had 3rd and about 2 yards deep in USC territory and Miles runs an off-tackle running play towards Clowney's side and, of course, we were stopped short of the 1st down marker. I believe that's when we missed a field goal on the next play.

Just things that make you go...WHAT?

I didn't think sleep was better, sleep is overrated.

We played that game good enough to win.
JC copelands stupid late hit cost us points, the fake fg was dumb, the onside kick wasn't terrible just a bad bounce about 2 feet too soon, we dropped about 4 passes that ended drives, we missed 2 FG, we didn't turn the ball over, they had 2 turnovers, we dominated possession.
We had a brain fart on two screen passes. One before the end of the first half which led to McCrappon walking in for a touchdown to go up 14-3, and the obvious last one that won it.

As great as we played, we shot ourselves in the foot so many times.

Game of inches too, tipped ball that Minter still should have intercepted but didn't b/c it was at his feet. That ball hangs in the air for .5 more seconds, or deflects a tad higher, and he returns it for a td.

Wow your hindsight is impeccable. It was only a bad call because it didn't work. He ran the same play multiple times in prior weeks and got 3-4 yards per carry. We lost. Get over it or forget about it.

And you would rather watch an old LSU football game than climb into bed with your woman?

OK

This frustrates me so much, when fans start distorting the truth to fit their worthless opinions about Les on a message board. It was a bad call because we had run only 2 plays out of that formation. A sneak, and a fake sneak pitch to 42. Instead of having any balls or creativity, we run the sneak (the primary option) against a team famous for nose guards. Any team against that formation would have loaded up to stop the sneak, even if Mettenberger was under center. We let the smartest and most talented team in the nation know what play we were going to run. You give Bama those odds, and they'll win every time. Our only chance was having enough brains to create another play out of the formation. Like maybe let the high-school QB who's already thrown a TD in his career pass it after faking the sneak?? We didn't. We ran a bad play in a key situation. like we did 4 other times that night. The onside kick being the only reasonable exception.

He had Ford in there so they were expecting Alabama to think the play was going wide. (See the previous years game in overtime). Saban was quoted after the game saying they knew that play was coming.
Also Ware fumbled the handoff and that split second cost them the first down. The crease was there initially but the timing caused Copeland to miss his block. Copeland, Turner and Ware for 1 yard with Ford deep in the backfield to rush up and push Ware across the marker?

Questionable decision for some to not kick the FG but I like him going for the throat there. Its easy to second guess the actual play call, but u could tell they had worked on that play for that situation for 2 weeks.
