Any recommendations on best places to hunt the area. What do private land owners get per gun/day?

Usually it's more of an invite kind of deal. You may find someone who does day hunts, google some duck hunt outfitters in the area. They may point you in the right direction.

I know the newspaper classifieds are kinda out of date, but there used to always be ads in the Monroe paper leading up to dove season advertising dove hunts. I'd be willing to bet they still have some there.

One of the Senators up there used to have a big throwdown. Barham, I think. Used to be a lunch, a speech, and some dove shooting over near LP or Delhi or somewhere in general vicinity in East Carrol Parish. About $150 a gun.

I saw an email on the BC a week or so ago that OleGeauxt was hosting a dove hunt for minorities in the NELA area. It did not interest me, but you should email him to get more details.

Didn't one of those Thompson's get their balls in a sling over some shady land deal over there?

Yeah and if you're friends of the family, you get the sunflower fields, not the corn fields.

And you get invited on the second split hunt
