It's a pitch, man. Distorted facts are half the issue. You think that kid knows Fat Joe Adams is the o line coach? No, he thinks Alabama.

Now, what has LSU done with its lineman. It still has Stud and who has he developed in the past 7 years?

Well Chris Faulk would have been if not for the injury but we have some decent OL in the NFL. It's been a while though.

You clearly know nothing about LSU and its recruiting.

None. Zero. Gtfo

Sure it is. Name me an oline player besides Nate livings, Fanica or Whitworth. I mean, LSU has some good prospects starting now but...right now, nahhhh.

Let me tell you, it was some deep analysis to say LSU hasn't put out a decent NFL lineman in the past 5 years. Thorough recruiting analysis required.

I report my previous sentiment. You know nothing of LSU recruiting the past 6 years. Do some research, because right now, you just look like an idiot.

Please, name me some starting or roster worthy lineman Miles has put out. Then lets stack them up against what Bama has put out recently.

Then you tell me who has a recruiting pitch advantage

He saying the recruits in the past were solid college players but that doesn't mean they were the best pro prospects. That coupled with Miles/Stud getting the best O line recruiting class last year means you don't know shite about recruiting.

But if you want to get technical Faulk was rated 1st-2nd round, Hurst was rated 3rd-4th round, even williford had a 5th round grade before the concussion.

For the future we have Collins, Turner, and Alexander who are all rated top 5 in their positions and likely to go up with more experience.

You would know this if you followed recruiting.

Some names you should check out. Pocic, Boutte, Dodd, Malone, Fanaika.

That's one recruiting pitch and I'm sure it's being used, but do you think that's all it comes down to?

Debatable

Bama had another 14 recruit on campus and rumors are were going after Bauer from MO.

Bauer is a beast.. many thought he would be a part of our class for a long time. His name has kind've faded in the last few months, especially after he committed to Ole Miss.

Youre right. We should probably just concede him to Bama. Were just not worthy

Thanks. I didn't want to post all that

I didn't even get into all the attrition of 07 and converted D linemen. Hell, I thought it was common knowledge. Guess not lol

I do follow recruiting but at the same time, the pitch is being used and I promise is effective. To sit here and say my argument isn't valid is complete BS. You tell a kid..."Well, we had Faulk, Hurst, etc....but they got injured or quit." is probably the most pathetic pitch on the planet.

We had a great haul of guys last year and the year before...but as far as talent in the league, at the moment it's lacking. Sure we have guys from 02-05 in there but the past few years where Stud can actively point to prospects her developed is rather weak.

No. I just said its one argument that's give me pause if its my kid being recruited.

Then people got upset.
