The Red Sox are clearly considering promoting the top shortstop prospect to play third base for them down the stretch. Bogaerts, 20, is batting .296/.395/.492 with 14 home runs, 59 RBI and seven stolen bases in 96 games this year between Double-A and Triple-A. He'd have immediate mixed-league fantasy value if he gets the call.

How much of an impact do y'all think this guy will make for the Sox? No. 1 SS prospect in baseball.

Huge in keeper leagues.

Could have a Manny Machado 2012 type impact this year

dropped this dude for Didi Gregorius when Didi came up

Quickly learned to regret that decision

Like Gyno said, he can have a Machado like impact, and should be owned in all keeper leagues

Lindor doesn't present nearly as much fantasy value. Too much of his worth comes from his glove to be an elite fantasy prospect, and proximity to the majors gives him zero appeal other than dynasties.

I just picked him up in TDBL, but I can't envision myself keeping him even though we keep 12.

Correa? Man you must be patient. You'll be lucky to see him in 2015.

25/20 potential with a high average and a good OB%. In love with this kid.

0% chance I keep him.

Player pool is terrible, I already sold out, and I had an empty roster spot so I figured why not.

Thats kinda what Im doing with Baez

Holding onto that slight hope we see a surprise call-up like we saw with Machado

Yea, Baez will have 35 HR when it's said and done this season. From SS.

He is the #1 SS fantasy prospect, hands down.

Correa is still 18.

Anyone think Miguel Sano stays at SS?

That aside, I think he may be a bit of a head case.

Not sure about hands down, but he's up there. Sounds like his approach will need a ton of work before being major league ready; he has big bat speed but swings at everything. How he handles AAA will go a long way in determining how ready for the majors he is.

Nope. If scouts question his feet and body at 3B, I can't see his his range playing at SS.

Sano is a 3B already. I love him.

Who else could you argue over Baez at this point?

Bogaerts, Lindor & Correa if we're talking real players and not talking about proximity to fantasy. Only Bogaerts if you're looking for most immediate impact.

Seager & Russell round out the top 6. Don't think Seager sticks at SS though.
