I just heard about this rail thing thats supposed to make recoil more managable for faster follow up shots. It looks kinda cool. I'm thinking about getting one.

Thats pretty cool. Definately something to think about on a bench gun.

Thats what I was thinking. Long distance shooting is something that I've never really done, but always kinda had a want to.

I like it very much for both of the applications he points out. But who the hell shoots through .22 that fast these days at current availability and prices.

The video is blocked at work, but I'm confused here. Are we talking about managing recoil on a .22LR?

it is a double sided rail attachment that works basically like a pistol slide. You use it to attach a forward drip or bipod and when the gun fires it slides on the rail keeping the bipod/forward hand still and then returns to original position. Thus creating better control. It works well with a slide fire stock as your two hands are then not fighting each other as the gun slides back and forth on the stock.
