I wish they would have done a little more of a follow up on it. Hope he doesn't give up and gives it multiple seasons worth of trying to show commitment.

He's holding out to see if a starting QB gets hurt somewhere in the camp/preseason, then he'd have a pretty good shot to get on a squad.

I think if he should stay in shape and try to be as public as possible with his ongoing workouts. His agent will stay active with communicating teams etc. He can probably get picked up by someone after training camps and/or during the season when injuries start mounting.

He just got a $3 million contract settlement from the Raiders a few weeks ago. Hopefully he doesn't get fat and happy again.
