I need a good, reputable gunsmith somewhere in the Houma/NO/BR area. We have Ed Dolorge here, but this late i the year he is really busy and would take a while to get it back to me. I have a trigger issue with a rem 700 that I started a thread about a few months ago, but never asked for suggestions. Who ya got?

Awww shitttttt

It should be a simple fix for just about any place that works on guns. I'd replace it with a timmney or the new remington trigger.

The new remington trigger is incredible. Not sure how expensive they are though. Timmny's are pretty cheap and great.

For the record, this particular issue was discussed thoroughly in my thread a few months ago. I would think it is probably a dirt issue somewhere, but want someone who knows what they are doing to look into it

Yea I remember.

I'm not familiar with what's in the area so I can't help much. I'm just here for the shite show that will happen tomorrow

That thread went into meltdown mode quickly. Like I said Ed Dolorge is the best known one around here and I have never heard a bad word about him, other than at this time of year through hunting season he gets so bowed up that you don't get your shite back for a while. I will probably bow hunt all year anyway, but I want it operational just in case

I hear ya.

I'd call any gun stores in the area. Most of them do simple gunsmithing and will probably be able to fix you up for pretty cheap.
