My iPod classified solo artists by their first name, so I went by how it did it. B was by far the hardest letter (Bob Dylan, Beatles, Buddy Holly, etc), but I went with the Beasties so I'd have some hip hop on there. I though about Eric B. and Rakim over Elvis Costello instead, but couldn't pull the trigger. R and S were also ridiculously tough, as three of my favorite bands are R's (REM, Replacements, Rolling Stones).

R would give me a nervous breakdown, so I am not doing this.
