NCAA Football 14 - Cut Scenes

Is there any way to skip them to speed up the game? They were cool the first two quarters. Now its just slow and annoying.

I hope so. It is so annoying. I like how it is on The Show, where you can adjust the amount of 'extra' you see.
I like the gameplay for the most part, but the interface feels cumbersome.

Love before the game there is highlights from the game that hasn't even been played yet.
Or the scene where the RB is behind center calling out adjustments and I've seen one where they handoff to the QB.

Im so glad they added the guy parachuting into the stadium animation. Thanks EA! That made my gaming experience worth it!

I went all out and got 7...that's right 7 total recruits. Recruiting has always been my favorite part of the game. Well now I didn't even have to cut people cause my roster is 70 out of 75. I'm so confident this season that I said screw those other 5 guys dreams of being a walk on, I got this.

I like them but they can definitely be annoying, especially if I'm down and trying to hurry and get back to the game. Then I'm pressing A 10 times trying to get it to get to the play all screen and end up calling the wrong play

Yeah I'm struggling with the recruiting shite too!
I really think they game play has improved, other than run d. I couldn't stop Kent St from running over 200 yards against me. And why did they get rid of nickle strong? That was the best defensive package.

one of the two times i broke a controller was over this shite in '09.
I was down by 4 late in a game and was making a good drive.
get the ball down to the 20 or so after a 5 yard pickup but couldnt get out of bounds. instead of hurrying up to get to the line the game cut scenes to him talking to one of the defensive players as the last 6 seconds run out.
nearly threw my arm out when i launched that thing.

God to honest truth, I love the game. There is much more reality to it then in past versions.
In fairness, how many huge runs do you see vs how many RBs get tripped up that stop a huge run in real life?
How many programs can target only 12 recruits that are all 5* and high 4* and get them all?
Not many programs IRL can throw the ball 40 times a game and the defense not adjust to slow it down and get a fair amount of interceptions.
I could make more cases but you get the point.

It does seem like the AI adapts extremely well this year.

Agreed...but how many times do you see a running back trip, stumble, and glide across 2 other players for a 10-yard gain? THAT is the most frustrating aspect to me. Last night I had a safety and a LB hit a RB at the line. It doesn't stop him, but rather makes him stumble. Then as he is stumbling, he trucks (or fell into him) another LB and glides over him. 9-yard gain on the play.

Seems like every pass play for the computer goes at least 11 yards.
The tackling is a bit funks this year too. Ball carriers seem to get the extra 2 or 3 yards whilist being tackled.

And decent scrambling QBs are nearly unstoppable.
Other than that I really do like the game. Typical glitches. Nothing that DLC's can't fix.
