players have gone back to get degrees. However, these guys will not be competing for jobs at Goldman Sachs, Google or McKinsey, so where they get degrees from is not nearly as important.

Fournette has stated that football is plan B and his studies are the most important. I think that speaks more to his maturity and character though than wanting to spend his next 3 years in the Ivy League or a slightly lesser version.

They play in the shitty big 10 and have 2 or 3 hard opponents a year. They are recruiting better than everyone in their league besides OSU and are coming off of a 10-win season. If they beat OSU every once in while, they have a solid shot at National Championship games every year.

Yeah, there is no reason to go to Michigan. Academics would be the only thing and Fournette, although he says academics is a big deal to him, I don't believe he really cares for them. Most people cant earn a degree in 3 years.
