Dude's wife dumps him like every day, cries about it all year
So he finds a new gf. The gf lives in his house while he's away and bangs all his friends. So, he tries to propose to her as a reward for taking that other D. She denies him. He cries.

He's an idiot. I have no idea why a bank made that loan to him for Saga. Obviously he's terrible with women.
Did they show the destroyed hand in tonight's episode? I'm not sure I want to see that one.

wife left him
wouldn't leave her alone
spent all last year callling her like 50 times in a row literally to beg to be let back
she got a restraining order
then she was kinda taking him back
but she found out on facebook he had a gf so she dumped him
the gf was living in his house while he was away at sea
his bud calls him from home to tell him that another friend was fricking the gf on the reg in his house
he tells the guy on the phone to let the other guy know that he will shoot him in the head when he gets home
then he called some singing telegram to meet him at the airport to propose to that same girl
then she called him to be all "i'm dumping you, son"
then he was like "but i was gonna propose and be all romantic"
then he cried (well he cried while she was on the phone too)

I had to google it. Apparently Elliott Neese was an employee on the Rambling Rose boat that is featured on the tv show Deadliest Catch. He was fired from Rambling Rose for a crew member under Elliott's watch falling asleep at the wheel and almost crashed the boat into the ice.
Elliott claims that never happened.
He says that getting fired was the best thing that ever happened to him because it enabled him to buy his own boat. He debuted his new boat, Saga, on the season premiere.

They didn't. The preview shot of that hand was horrific. I'm betting the footage isn't from a featured boat so it won't be a crew member we're familiar with. I could be wrong though.

Wasn't the saga the boat in the first season where the greenhorn fell over board and then by the grace of god got plucked out of the water.

Y'all talking about the firework mishap? If so it wasn't that bad. The injury was horrific but didn't look that bad.

No. This one is much worse. The fingers are dangling off to the side while the bones where the fingers should be attached are sticking up out of the stump of a hand. It's real bad.

Poor paragraph structure on my part. He's obviously an idiot as a captain and shouldn't be lent a huge sum of money. I believe he's going to get a crew member killed. He's on the phone fighting with women while his crew is getting hit with 40 foot waves with no warning on the deck. He's showing complete disregard for the safety of his crew.
He also sucks at life and with women.
