How superstitious are you about your favorite teams?

Do you honestly think that some silly ritual will affect how a team plays?

What about wearing a certain article of clothing?

Years ago I was dating a girl and when I was over at her house I'd ask her dad to flip the TV over to the LSU basketball game (for example). If LSU would miss a few shots in a row (or start to play bad in general) he seriously thought it was because we had turned the TV on the game. This dude was 60 years old too

But do you honestly think that the game may have a different outcome based on where you watch?

I can't watch big moment plays, and if my team starts doing poorly in the playoffs, I take a shower.

I totally understand nervousness and not wanting to watch. Also wanting to watch at your own house.

The question is, does your shower or changing the channel change the outcome of the game?

I turn the channel during big plays. I also rarely sit down.

If I'm at a bar, I'll go the bathroom during big plays.

Dude, for the Bartman game, I actually convinced myself the outcome would've been different had I watched it at home.

The people saying they turn off/leave when there is a big play, wtf do you watch then?
I usually just get up and pace back and forth, but you're damn right I'm watching that shite.

2 years ago, Baylor was losing to Kansas at halftime (football). My friends and I were pissed off about being down nearly 21 to Kansas and my one of my friends went to take a shite during halftime. He missed the first part of the 3rd quarter in which we scored a td while he was sitting on the toilet. We made him sit there the rest of the game and Baylor won in OT.

ETA: Seriously though every time he tried to come out we would do something stupid. Finally, he agreed to stay on the toilet and we gave him the play by play

If you are a fan of Baylor football and you are superstitious you should do everything you have ever done in your life backwards

Man, Im a Cubs fan. Were the most superstitious group of people you'd ever wanna meet.
Ron Santo and the black cat, the goat, Bartman, Turk Wendell, that shite wears off on you after awhile.
If you've ever been to more than a couple of games at Wrigley and talk to some of the longtime season ticket holders, you would see that most of em have a superstition for nearly every scenario that comes up.
