How much faith does CLM have in Kenny Hilliard?

Albeit against weak competition early in the season, KH played very good football last season. He seemed to disappear from action most of the second half of the year. With Jeremy Hill in legal limbo does Les still rotate backs as always or lean on Alfred Blue in more of a Jacob Hester sense of being the guy the vast majority of the time? Just another question mark for this season.

My guess is Blue and Hilliard will be the two guys lining up against TCU, with Magee in reserve.

If Hill comes back it may not be until Auburn at the earliest at which time he will have to earn his spot back and if Blue and Hilliard are carrying the load it may be tougher than he thinks.

Brazil if he ends up at RB will not be that workhorse guy in sec games and will get a handful of carries as a RB to give a speed option out of backfield.

Popping out twins will do that to a sophomore in college.

No idea but I have plenty. Expect Hilliard to return to 2011 form (and beyond) this year. By all reports he's ready to roll.

The dude had newborn twins last year, which I'm sure was a huge distraction. And Hill was playing better ball. Plain and simple.

I heard he's really slimmed down and gotten much more muscular. Which is good bc he was a little on the heavy side.

Wow. Had no idea he had twins. Makes much more sense now.

I didn't know this. Helps to explain why he seemed to run so soft last year.

He must be significant in short yardage situations to get more playing time because he lacks the break away speed that Hill and Blue have.

were the twins boys? if so, maybe they could be our RB tandem in the future

Personally I'd love the thunder and lightning game Hilliard and Blue could potentially bring.

Unfortunately Lane Kiffin has the early lead for their signatures because he extended the first offers whilst they were in the womb.

My kid changed my life....I never worked harder, just a provider instinct. He might turn it to another level, just have to see....

I'd disagree that he doest have break away speed. He was chunky last year and broke some long runs so I feel like a slimmer leaner KH could be special.

If you think his speed is comparable to Hill, I don't think we have watched the same team over the last couple of seasons. Hill has had several TD runs of up to 60 yards, Hilliard has not. That is why Hill got the reps over Ware and Hilliard, because on any given play, Hill could go the distance. I hope Kenny does return this season faster and can compete better.

Well, Kenny is still on the team. I'd say Les has enough faith in him.
