My son is 4 1/2. Been thinking of when the best age was to watch Star Wars trilogy. I wanted it to have the same impact on him as it had on me so was planning on this summer.

This morning, he told me that Jackson at school told him Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's dad.

I was ready to kick Jackson's butt.

WTF YOU *********!!!!!

I thought you were just going to discuss movies in general and how they are spoiled. Why would you ruin Star Wars for me?

I only seen A New Hope and was getting ready to watch Empire Strikes back.

F U and Jackson.

I believe they share Walder Frey's views on the reciprocity of retribution.

That's not kids these days. That's kids from all days.

The problem nowadays are those few fricking a-hole adults who use Facebook and Twitter and water cooler conversations to ruin movies.

The worst are the ones who aren't malicious in it. They just tell you everything that happens in the movie because they thought it was good and they think you should see it.

"Hey you should really see that new Star Wars movie. There's these little creatures called Ewoks that Han and Chewy and them use to help defeat the Emperor's army all while Luke is up in the new Death Star getting his arse kicked by the Emperor until Vader turns on the dark side and is the one to kill the Emperor. You should totally check it."

Assholes.

Thats a spoiler thats pretty mich impossible to keep under wraps when a kid hits school age

I mean, how many people have literally been shocked to hear Vader say "Luke i am your father" the past 20 years? Its so ingrained in pop culture its impossible to avoid even as little kids because the kids shows do spoofs of it all the time using that line

When I first saw Star Wars, all I knew about it was Vader was Luke's dad, Yoda, and Ewoks. I kept waiting for Yoda to appear in ANH and thought Yoda was one of the Jawas hiding under the hoodie.

No violence necessary. You just find Jackson and tell him Santa Claus does not exist.
