247 profile

He has LSU as one of his top teams. He was quoted recently in a 247 article as saying that he loves the D Line success at LSU. Basically says he's a big fan of Montgomery and Mingo. Also mentions wanting more contact with LSU.

Anybody know if we're actively recruiting him? I know a few posters on this board are close to the team in some way.

I assume he is a back up plan for the other DEs on our board

Kid looks good, but with the numbers tight Les might have to trim the fat so to speak, If Brick and Chavis wants him im cool with that. Looks like a good kid though.

Need to be..Now that Valentine is gone, there's a spot for this guy...Not the same player, but a stud, nonetheless...

Thomas has been one of the most dominant linemen at The Opening. Even playing some inside and still over-powering offensive linemen.

I didn't mean he isn't good but if he says he wants to be in more contact with LSU the staff probably just doesn't have him as that high of a priority.

Our staff slacking on a kid with high mutual interest just doesn't happen.

I think it depends where they see McDowell, Godchaux and Willis and all of the freshman d-linemen we brought in last year.

There's a lot of guys that can either play DE or DT so I think we need to figure out where we stand with them, but I definitely like Thomas

I think it's more like the contact has been minimal from the beginning. Maybe they didn't even know how interested he is.

That's true. Thomas could probably bulk up and play DT as well

Does have the Mingo body shape but is he also an All-State track athlete like the before mentioned Mingo. Time will tell.

I think he's more similar to Montgomery, but quicker and maybe even stronger. Thomas is just a beast all around. Could be a top 50 player after getting bumped up
