These are some of the games that I've yet to play but already own:

Borderlands is far and away the best on that list IMO. Great game that's even better if you can get some friends to co-op with you.

Borderlands is the best there.
If you want something quick though, RAGE is pretty short and decently fun.

I might need to do one of these threads soon. I'd go with Borderlands and highly recommend the sequel. Maybe Tomb Raider as well.

Max and Tomb are probably on top. I own Borderlands because of a Steam sale but have never been into the art style. I haven't played it though.

Borderlands is more about just mindless fun. Thousands upon thousands of possible gun combinations combined with humorous writing and strange enemies.

Max Payne first. You'll be able to blow through it pretty fast then hit Tomb Raider. Wait for Borderlands. Its good but time consuming to level up. Savor that one later
