Went there this evening for the first time. Man, what a hidden little gem that place is. Not going to give some extensive review but everything ordered at our table was delicious.

Eggplant Bayou Teche
Seafood Pasta
Grilled Redfish

Anybody else a fan?

Very good the two times I have been. If I remember correctly, it seemed to be a little pricey.

Yeah, I was a little surprised by the price.

I agree, good but pricey. Hot Tails is good as well and more reasonable price-wise.

We do a little management retreat in New Roads every year and the boss takes us to Ma Mama's. Good stuff.

Probably the best restaurant in New Roads IMO. Haven't been in a couple years but my favorite dish was the portobello ma mamas. Large portobello cap topped with fried crawfish tails and cream sauce. Great shrimp and grits too.
