No words, just, I'm in disbelief. I was hoping for Someone like Jennings or Bledsoe and we get something better than both. I almost had to grit my teeth and act happy for burke, then noel falls and we get this. Just so great. #InDempsWeTrust

I don't hate the trade, but man I would have loved to see Anthony Davis and Nerlens Noel as Twin Towers in the front court for the Pelicans.

For me, Noel's injury is what makes this a smart trade for the Pels.

But if Noel wasn't injured he would not have been available at 6

Exactly. Apparently the suns gave Noel the red flag. He broke a growth plate in his left knee in high school and now tore his ACL. And he's a TALL SHOTBLOCKING CENTER. yeah no. I don't want skinny Greg Oden

You gotta take proven young all star over two mysteries any day. We've tanked for two years. Tom and Dell arent going to do it again.

I love this trade and am still absolutely shocked. We managed to get an all-star PG outta this which is more than I ever expected.

I agree though, if Noel recovers and both he and Davis reach their potential you're looking at the best big man duo since Duncan/Robinson

No doubt. And neither does Davis. I still think they could play together. How many teams have a true 5? Play two great 4's (assuming Noel becomes one). I think it could work.

Dude, they could have been marketed like that if Noel had stayed. The Thin Towers. That's awesome.

Seriously I think AD and Noel together weighs about the same as Shaq in his prime.

I still can't understand why people are mad that we are getting rid of an unproven bony defensive specialist who can't score and will get pushed around by 90% of the real centers in the league. Plus, we give up our 2014 #1 who I'm guessing won't even be a top 15 pick.

This. He would have immense trouble scoring against NBA defenders. Not even worth the potential 3-4 year development
