How does Oregon avoid any serious penalties?!

Not a conspiracy, just the truth: the NCAA needs Oregon to compete with the SEC. Year in, year out, they're the only legitimate threat to another 7 SEC National Championships in a row, and the other conference's lack of competition ought to be a concern because recruits know the SEC is like the minor leagues for the NFL. Seniors in high-school haven't seen another conference win a national championship since they were in the 4th grade. Last year was a joke considering the top 6 teams in the SEC were in the top 12 most of the year. This year Ohio State could potentially go undefeated and not beat out two 1-loss SEC teams. What happens if the SEC gets 2 teams in the playoffs the first 3 years and all of them make it to the championship game?
Side note: Top non-SEC programs list.
1. Ohio State
2. Oregon
3. Florida State
4. Notre Dame
5. Stanford
Really no one else to mention besides Boise St. or Oklahoma until Miami, Texas, Penn St, USC, and Michigan turn things around.

Also, I don't see the NCAA giving a damn about who challenges the SEC as for as the BCSNG goes.

NCAA has no balls, and doesn't want to do anything to disrupt the cash flow.

I have a suspicion that somehow the two SEC teams will usually play each other in the first round.

so say they end up 1 & 3 after the SEC champ game......somehow the polls will push the 3rd ranked team down to number four to make sure they play each other and at least one gets eliminated?

Although it is a business so they'd have every reason to want actual competition across the country in their biggest money maker. Point being the South has always had the most talent, but now that many of the best players from other states are coming to play down here, it's gonna hurt business if the other schools can't even put up a fight. Arkansas showed why we're the best conference when they hired Bielema, because there's 8 schools that would sell their souls to win a championship. It'll only get better now that kids grow up knowing that the SEC is the best conference.

Polls don't matter... It's a selection committee. Seeding won't necessarily have anything to do with rankings.
