If killing your best friend isn't a wake up call to change your ways, you deserve to spend years in jail. How stupid can you be to use drugs/alcohol when you know you are being tested for it?

I agree, but the flip side of that coin is that if I killed my BFF, I'd prob try to stay fricked up.

We've come a long way from the days when people were horrified to learn that players were instructed to hit their opponents very hard and were rewarded for it.

I'm not defending Brent. I'm a Cowboys fan that wanted us to kick his arse off the team immediately.
BUT, it is incredibly common for people who are responsible for deaths that turn to drugs in depression. Incredibly common.
