My guess is he'll talk about how bad the new bats are and talk about needing to move to the minor league ball.
Tiger fans will be agreeing with him for once.

Pretty good interview. He said the ball and bat needs some change, not back to gorilla ball but a little help to make game more exciting for the casual fan. The purist (like me) love pitching battles but to keep the sport growing and bring back in casual fans it needs more offense.

They talked about his early coaching days in NC and when he came to Tulane his relationship with Skip. Finally talked about the scholarship limits on the sport, Brando suggested Baseball should at the very least have as many scholarships as women's hoops and that is still low.

Pitching battles should require elite pitching in the face of offensive potential. Manufactured pitching battles are fake...it's the equivalent of juicing the bats and being in awe of the display of power.

Football eats up so many scholarships. As long as Title IX is in effect, it's tough to balance it out since there's no other sport that comes close to those numbers. And it's more financially prudent to just cut scholarships instead of increasing them which is supposed to be the spirit of the legislation.

They should have talked about why Jones has not adapted to the new recruiting and transfer rules and how he is killing the Tulane program.

They did, it's a scolarship and money issue at most private schools not named Rice, Stanford, Vandy. He mentioned he doesn't offer scholarships, he has to negotiate them. Giving a kid even a half schollie, leaves his family having to come up with over $30,000 a year!

Did Brando ask Jones bout the stories of him stuffing an athletic sock down his uni's crotch to make himself look more "presentable". LSU fans ate him up over that one for yrs.

No, why would he ask about an urban myth.
