I like nature. even snakes...I just don't like him having a hole in my garden where the gf spends time.

Looks like a black masked racer.



They're good to have around. The only snakes I move on my property are the poisonous ones or the ones the SO freaks out about. Racers will keep mice and rats away.

If you really want to relocate it, try catching it (they're not named racers for nothing) and put it in a pillow case and an ice chest (temporarily) and move it into the woods. It will more than likely bite you, so prepare yourself.
