How did this CWS stat get so flubbed up?

During the LSU / NC game it was stated that was the first HR to right field in TD stadium. IE 3 years.
That was actually the 8th HR to right in the CWS since it's gone to TD stadium.

Believe they called it first to right center if I am not mistaken.

They said it was the first homerun to right-center field during the CWS at TD-Ameritrade. Now, one could argue if that homerun was hit to right-center, but that is what they said on air.

This. But from my recollection, it was definitely right-center in the power alley.
