frick. Yes. I can't wait.
It drives me nuts that this season will only consist of four episodes just like season 2. At the very least I need 6 episodes per season just like the first one.

An obsessive police detective. Basically idris Elba being a bad motherfricker. All of the episodes from seasons 1&2 are available on Netflix. It's definitely one of the better crime shows out there, and the character of John Luther is one of my favorites.

Ya'll are aware there is a book out now too called "Luther:The calling" written by the show creator. Its a prequel to season 1 and shows what happened right before the season picks up.
Good read, neat to read Luther and see him in my head doing the same stuff he does on tv. Same mannerisms etc

I also read somewhere a while back that the character of Alice played by Ruth Wilson was possible going to be turned into a spinoff. Any more news on this?
Wallander is amazing. I love it. I tried to watch the original swedish series but they only had season 2 on netflix.
There are so many great British shows out there, and Netflix has a ton of them.

Tiger, I think you might also enjoy the series Wire in the Blood if you enjoy prime suspect and wallander.

The plan is for series 3 of Luther to set up for the movie they're going to make. And last I read it looked like Alice's spinoff show was still going forward
