I'll be in London for the first game of the season. Trying to buy a ticket to see Arsenal trounce Aston Villa but heard that can be really difficult for opening match of the year. What's my best route here?

Sorry for early submission. On phone.

for Arsenal you can buy a Red level membership then try and buy immediately when tickets become available. that's my plan for the NLD.

Is there an official site that you can buy the tickets on if you are a member?

there is only one route honestly, buy a club membership, this gives you just the right to purchase tickets. Since its the opening weekend and Arsenal is a big club it will most likely be a lottery so good luck

yeah check out arsenal dot com. it has info on tickets, membership, etc. they also have a ticket exchange program. I've never done it before so not sure if it is first come first serve or lottery.

I'm going to get a membership and try to get tickets for Spurs because I'll be in London then. the fixture list computer gods shined upon me

That's pretty awesome man. Wish they did that in August haha. Will also be looking for tips on soccer aspect of my trip. Tentatively planning Madrid-Barcelona-Paris-Normandy, and then I will be in London for 3 weeks-month for a class.
