Looking for a bright spot (pitching depth)...

UNC's starting pitching has struggled mightily over the last 3 weekENDS, which is why they will start reliever Trent Thornton. His average start is 3-4 innings, but he has good numbers. After that, it falls off sharply. In the last 4 games (SUPER plus 1 at CWS), UNC's relievers have logged 27 innings, while our relievers have logged 6 innings over the same period.
We should be well rested, and if we play consistently over 9 innings, we will be OK.

I am just glad that FAU took them to the edge and that SC isn't back (but also took them to the limit). How nervous would we feel about facing the Gamecocks tomorrow? I know UNC is bad enough, but if there was one team that beat us at our own game this season it was the Cocks.
I think we'll beat Thornton a little; hopefully Glenn will not get same treatment.

If you'll remember, we sat Glenn Game 3 of the USC series to get him on the correct rotation.
They bested us on Saturday, and we essentially conceded Game 3 on Sunday.

The one thing that worries me is they can have all the bullpen they want but if they don't hit tomorrow it won't matter. Especially Bregman, Ibarra (who had two shots) and McMullen

I think Sky Bolt or whoever he is has the best arm I have seen in the college game and John Zeringue included.
